ALYSSA DUCKWITZ
Co-owner/ Tattoo Artist
Hi! I’m Alyssa. I am a co-owner and artist at Forbidden Fruit Tattoos. I have 5 years of experience and specialize in blackwork, traditional, and ornamental styles. When I’m not tattooing I enjoy making art with other mediums such as painting, printmaking and stained glass. My art draws inspiration from nature, traditional flash paintings, vintage illustrations, and classic art, etc.

GRACIE LEE
Co-owner/ Tattoo Artist
Hi! My name is Gracie.
I am a co-owner of Forbidden Fruit Tattoos and have been tattooing since 2021. I specialize in black and grey stippling - specifically neo-traditional and anime!
I was born in Ellijay, GA and have been living in North Georgia ever since (with a little 3 year stay in Germany in my teens). Now I live in Commerce, GA about 30 minutes from Athens! I’m a dumb nerd and love talking about my favorite animes, shows, and animals too :)
Since I could form a coherent thought I KNEW I would become a professional artist in some way, and when I was given the opportunity at 20 years old I knew tattooing would be that profession! Tattooing is everything to me; I genuinely do not know where I would be if it weren’t for this career. I owe everything to the people who put their trust in me to put my art on their bodies <3

JENN NISWONGER
Co-owner/ Tattoo Artist
Hi, I’m Jenn! I am one of the co-owners at Forbidden Fruit Tattoos and I am very passionate about the work I create, the support I give to my fellow tattoo artists and community, and the care and consideration I give to my clients as we work through our projects together. I have a love for a range of art styles and the technical aspects of making art and I love working with clients on custom projects that not only flow and compliment their anatomy, but also considers the type of artwork that speaks to them to give each client a truly custom piece. I love working on anything from neo-traditional, realism, blackwork, and illustrative designs to coverups, large-scale tattoos, reworks, and almost everything in between. Longest story short - I love what I do and I can’t wait to make cool things with you!
I have always loved a range of art styles and greatly enjoy being able to explore a broad range of approaches and techniques. I always found a particular attraction to the technical illustrations of plants and anatomy in old books as well as old world etchings of animals and mythical monsters. Along with these illustrations, I have a deep love for painting which I had pursued professionally for over a decade. I and am drawn to the dark contrast present in baroque paintings as well as the bright colors and fantastical elements in dark surrealism and hyperrealism. In short - I love the macabre and the beautiful, I love the technical information found in the lines describing an image, and I love the impact color and shadow has in evoking a feeling in a work of art as well as in the world around us. Before tattooing, this love led me to pursue higher education in painting, drawing, and art history. Born and raised in the rural parts of Southern Indiana, I moved to Athens in 2015 to attend graduate school at UGA where I would eventually teach figure anatomy in drawing and sculpture. As a painter, I became known for my award-winning large-scale oil paintings and have exhibited my work internationally. Along with these pursuits in my own career as an artist, I have always felt at my best being in a supporting role helping other artists, and so have found myself working in and managing various galleries and collaborative artist projects over the years. Having imagined being a tattoo artist in my youth, my career path eventually circled back around to lead me into this industry at the end of 2019, and I haven’t looked back!

MORGANNE FUGETT
Tattoo Artist
As a tattoo artist, I’m constantly chasing the feeling of nostalgia and happiness through my art! The first time I held a marker it went straight to my skin instead of paper. In school, art class was always my favorite, and nothing made me more happy than a fresh pack of crayons. I’m always excited to chat about any tattoos ideas you may have, but what really gets me excited is american traditional and nostalgic pieces with fun bright colors! Making my clients and anyone around me feel comfortable is my top priority. Bonus points if i can make you laugh. Want to talk the entire session about your most recent hyper fixation? I’m all ears. Want a silent session to put your headphones in and relax? Totally cool! I am here for you in whatever way you need!

AUTUMN SAGER
Tattoo Artist
Hey, my name is Autumn and I’ve been in love with art and creating all my life. I’ve always enjoyed picking up new mediums and that led me to chase my dream and start professionally tattooing in 2022. I enjoy a range of different styles from fine line and delicate to bold and eye catching. I’m especially drawn to portraiture -of the human or animal variety- and colorful illustrative works. I owe so much that I have to this career, my clients, and the fellow artists that have all supported me on this journey. I truly love meeting new people from all walks of life and am always honored to bring your ideas to life. Tattooing can be such a deeply personal and intimate experience; insuring that my clients leave satisfied, and already planning their next visit goes hand in hand with the standard I hold my art to.
